Hello Ladies and Gents *curtsies*

My name is Anna, better known to my listeners as Hannah Blannah, or Miss HB.  I am extremely friendly, sometimes goofy, and always smiling. :) I grew up in the tri-state area on the north east coast of the USA where I currently reside at age 25.  Although I present a mainly indie, acoustic, 90's and today show, I listen to almost all types of music.  That includes anything from grunge, alternative, and rock to jazz, funk, classical and everything inbetween!  Besides my love for broadcasting I entertain my time with several other hobbies.  Photography and traveling being the main two, but as few may know I also love to sing, play(guitar, flute & piano), and write music.

     In March of 2007 I was invited to do live broadcasts on a radio station based in the UK.  A colleague and dear friend of mine, Mr DJ Lazy B, took me under his wing and trained me, prepped me, and got me completely set up for business.  With Lazy B watching over me I made a comfortable and fun debut into the world of radio.  I presented a show entitled Anna's American Cuisine in which I played mainly rock of the 90's and today, and also held a few quiz contests just for fun.  After a few shows I had gotten myself a great following of supportive and enthusiastic listeners from all around the globe.  Some of which randomly popped on thinking that I was presenting a cooking show and became loyal listeners in the end!  But none the less I appreciated every single one of them :) In May of '07 I flew out to the UK to meet some of my fellow broadcasters, and station managers and such.  I had a fantastic time learning even more about this incredible new world I'd jumped into.  Unfortunately, due to personal conflict with the owners, the station was shut down before my return to the US.

     After the hot summer nights had cooled down, and I was less tempted to spend my afternoons out hiking in the sunshine, I got back on board.  Another UK based station took me on and began broadcasting my show once a week.  With conflicting schedules, I had no choice but to send out prerecorded shows which could not satisfy my hunger for broadcasting.  A few weeks later, due to unforseen circumstances, this station also shut down, and I found myself wandering around with my mic and headphones in tow looking for a new place to share my voice.  I was starving for the love of my radio family, stationless, and it was raining....what is a girl to do?

     Jump on board with the next great offer that comes along of course!! Which brings us right up to date.  I am currently broadcasting my new show 'Light-n-Sweet with Miss HB' on QTFM.co.uk every Sunday.  I am very excited to be joining this elite group of presenters, and I am really looking forward to all the new adventures to come!
